The narrator is silent

Check the device volume and that the narrator is turned on in the grown-ups area (the lock button on the home screen). The app uses your device’s built-in voice for some languages; if Hindi or Telugu has no voice, install that language in your device’s text-to-speech settings.

How do I open the grown-ups area?

Tap For grown-ups on the home screen and tap the number that is written in words. Settings, story notes for parents and purchases are all there.

Restoring a purchase on a new device

Sign in to the same Google or Apple account, open the grown-ups area and tap Restore purchases.

Cancelling a subscription

Subscriptions are managed by the store. On Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions. On iPhone or iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions.

Does it need the internet?

No. Every story works offline. The internet is only needed to buy, restore or renew a subscription.
