Krishna Stories

Children follow baby Krishna one small moment at a time. They find, tap, light, rock and colour their way through each story while a narrator reads it aloud in English, Hindi or Telugu. There is nothing to fail and no timers, and a gentle hint appears whenever a child is stuck.

Why we made it

The stories our grandparents told us shaped who we are. Little Leela passes them on to the next generation in a way that feels like play, with art in the warm style of a picture book and narration in the languages families speak at home.

More stories, and more of the little gods, are on the way.

Dedicated to my Ammamma

Everything in Little Leela is dedicated to my Ammamma, my grandmother. On long afternoons and sleepy nights she told me story after story of Krishna and the gods, and those stories made me curious about our mythology for the rest of my life.

Today I am passing her stories on, to my own child and to yours.

— with love, from her grandchild
